Here are several possible solutions to improve the audio on your RIG 800 LX headset:

• Turn down the master volume on the headset.
• Move the receiver to make sure that the signal to your headset is not blocked by any obstacles (furniture, electronics, glass, etc.).
• Keep the receiver away from anything that can cause radio interferences (Wi-Fi router, Xbox, electronics, etc.).
• Stay close to the receiver. The range is up to 10 meters with no obstacles.

If you are still having issues, pair the headset again.

1. Turn off the headset.
2. Plug the USB adapter into the console or PC.
3. Set the selector switch on the USB adapter to Xbox or PC depending on the platform you use.
4. Press the Pairing button on top of the USB adapter and hold it until the LED indicator flashes red and blue.
5. Turn on the headset. A voice prompt says "Headset not connected".
6. Slide up the Power button and hold it until the LED indicator flashes red and blue. A voice prompt says "Pairing".

If the pairing succeeded, a voice prompt says "Headset connected" and the LED indicator on the USB adapter changes to purple.

If you can only hear the chat or if the volume of the game is too low compared to the chat, here are several possible solutions:

• Make sure that the Game/chat mix feature is not set all the way to Chat.
• Disable the Xbox party chat mixing on your console:
  1. Press the Nexus button.
  2. Go to your profile and go to Settings > General > Volume & audio output.
  3. Go to Chat mixer and select Do nothing.
     You can now completely control the game/chat mix from your headset.

Here are several possible solutions to fix the audio on your RIG 800 LX headset:

• Turn on your Xbox and sign into your profile.
• Make sure that the switch on the dongle is set to Xbox.
  
• Turn off the headset and disconnect the dongle from the console. Wait 15 seconds and connect the dongle again. The LED turns red.
  If the LED does not turn on, try connecting it to another USB port on the Xbox.
  
• Turn on the headset. The LED goes from red to purple.
  If the color doesn't change, try pairing the headset again.
• Turn off the headset. Press and hold the Power button on the headset until it goes into pairing mode.
• Hold down the Pairing button on the top of the dongle for some seconds. The LED starts flashing red and blue.

When the headset is connected, a "Headset assigned" message displays on your Xbox and there is a green ring around your profile picture.
