You can replace the default plate using a screwdriver and customize it with your favorite design.
The Daija Arcade Stick by Nacon is compatible with the following systems:
- PlayStation version: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC (Windows 10/11)
- Xbox version: Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC (Windows 10/11)
The Daija Arcade Stick is not compatible with Mac. You can customize your settings, but not play on Mac.
- Use the two side buttons to open the storage compartment.
- Use the round metal disc key supplied (or a flat-headed screwdriver) to hold the joystick post in place.
- Unscrew the current joystick head in a counter-clockwise motion.
- Use the round metal disc key to hold the joystick post in place.
- Screw on the new joystick head in clockwise motion until it is firmly in place.
- Close the compartment.
- Unplug and plug again your controller to your gaming system without any action on your joystick or trigger.
- If your controller has a companion app, make sure that:
- The firmware is up to date.
- The settings of your joystick or trigger are not too aggressive.
- The dead zone settings are not set at their minimum.
- Press the unlock buttons on the cover to open the inside compartment.
- Find the cable that corresponds to the button or joystick that you want to change. You can find the color code on a label inside the Daija Arcade Stick.
- Unplug the cable. Make sure to lift the sleeved part of the cable to not damage it.
- If you want to remove a button, press the side springs. If you want to remove the joystick mechanism, unscrew the four screws with a cross-headed screwdriver.
You can now install your own joystick or buttons. If you install a joystick, make sure to properly
plug the cables back in and replace the screws.
The Daija Arcade Stick comes with the four pre-saved profiles that follow:
- Nacon_Classic;
- Nacon_Soul_Calibur_VI;
- Nacon_Guilty_Gear_Strive;
- Nacon_DRAGONBALL_Fighter_Z.
To select one of the pre-saved profiles, press the Profile button on the Daija to go through the options as indicated by the LED lights.
You can also create and edit your own profiles with the Daija app.
The audio feature works only on PlayStation 4. It is not supported on PC.
- Make sure that the settings of the audio output of your PlayStation 4 system are correctly configured for your headset.
- Make sure that the volume is not set at the minimum level.

- Make sure that the Mute function is deactivated on the remote control of your headset.
- Go to the settings of your PlayStation 4 system to make sure that the microphone level is not set at its minimum.
Make sure that you have selected the PC mode with the platform selection switch on the right side of the Daija Arcade Stick.
The Daija Arcade stick is compatible with all PC games that are XInput compatible. If the game is written to use another protocol, the Daija Arcade stick cannot be compatible.
- Select your system (PC or Xbox) with the dedicated button on the right-hand side of the Arcade Stick.
- Connect the USB-C connector into the port on the Daija Arcade Stick with the cable supplied.
- Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a free USB port on your system.
On PC, if you plug it in for the first time, a Windows message may notify you that you need to install a driver. The process automatically starts up and only takes a few seconds. - On console, press the Xbox button on the Daija Arcade Stick to connect it.
NOTE:
- Some games that require a controller with two joysticks are not compatible with the Daija Arcade Stick.
- Daija doesn't support the following functions:
- Analog joysticks;
- Analog triggers;
- Adaptive triggers;
- Vibrations.
- Use the Platform selection switch on the right-side panel to set the Daija Arcade Stick to your system.
- Make sure that the Joystick mode selection switch is set to your preferred usage. Use the switch on the right-side panel to set the joystick to perform as a typical controller Left joystick, Right joystick, or D-Pad.
- Press the Profile button to go through the four pre-set gaming profiles and find the profile that best fits your gaming style.
- Make sure that your Daija firmware is up to date. You can download the Daija app for PC and Mac from our website and for Xbox from the Microsoft store.
NOTE:
- Some games that require a controller with two joysticks are not compatible with the Daija Arcade Stick.

You can replace the default front cover pre-installed on your Daija Arcade Stick with the additional design supplied or with your own design. To use your own design, download the Arcade Stick template for Xbox here.
NOTE: You need to print the template to A3 size (297mm x 420mm / 11.7in x 16.5in) so that it perfectly matches up the dimensions of the Daija Arcade Stick.
- Remove the head of the joystick.
- Remove the nine screws with the hexagonal screwdriver supplied on the protective panel on the surface of the Arcade Stick.
- Insert the new graphic panel.
- Reattach the cover with the screws.
- Reattach the joystick head.
Make sure that the inside wiring is correct.
- Press the two red lid release buttons on the sides of the Arcade Stick to open it.
- Make sure that all the wires are correctly connected. If this is not the case, connect them again. You can find the color code on a label inside the Daija Arcade Stick.
