The RIG 900 MAX HS headset is compatible with PlayStation 5 and PC.
When you charge the headset, you can see a LED on the left earcup that indicates the battery charge level.
- Red: Low battery and charging.
- Yellow: Medium battery and charging.
- Green: high battery and charging.
- Off: Battery fully charged.
The audio only comes out of one headphone
This problem can happen if the audio output of your console is set to Chat Audio.
- Go to the settings of your console.
- On PlayStation 4: Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Output to Headphones.
- On PlayStation 5: Settings > Sound > Audio Output > Headphones > Output to Headphones.
- Select All Audio.
This problem can happen when a soundbar is connected to the TV. Before using your headset, make sure to disconnect your soundbar.
- Set up the Navigator app. You can use the video tutorial here.
- Press and hold the Mode button for at least six seconds until you hear a voice prompt that says "Pairing Bluetooth".
- Make sure that your phone operating system is up to date.
- Activate Bluetooth on your phone and select the name of your headset.
- Go to the Navigator app.
- Press Update.
The Your headset is up to date message displays and the icon changes from red to green.
If you are still having issues, uninstall and reinstall the app and do the procedure again.
- Make sure to connect your headset to Bluetooth before opening the app.
- Make sure to allow the app to access your location.
On the right headphone, insert the tip of a paper clip into the reset hole for three seconds.
- Make sure that the microphone isn't muted on the headset.
RIG 900 headsets have a flip-to-mute feature. To unmute, flip the mic boom all the way up and then all the way down. - Make sure that the microphone is correctly connected to the headset. A loose connection can prevent the flip-to-mute feature from working.
- Make sure that the firmware is up to date.
- Turn off the headset and turn it back on.
- Test the headset on another device to check if the issue comes from the headset or the device.
